Boy group EXO members Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin (also known as EXO-CBX) has taken legal action against their agency INB100.
On September 7th, the Seoul Central District Court’s Civil Agreement Division 50 held a hearing for the provisional injunction petition filed by EXO-CBX against INB100 to suspend the effect of their exclusive contracts.
The hearing reportedly ended in less than 10 minutes as INB100’s representative did not appear. INB100 has consistently taken a non-responsive stance, failing to submit any written materials to the court since the injunction petition was filed.
Regarding this, EXO-CBX’s side stated that INB100 CEO Cha Ga Won “has been detained and has not been reachable since the injunction petition.”

In addition to the injunction petition, EXO-CBX is understood to have filed a main lawsuit seeking confirmation that the exclusive contracts are null and void. If the court grants the injunction, the contracts’ effectiveness will be suspended until the first trial verdict in the main lawsuit.
INB100 was founded by Baekhyun in June 2023 and joined as a subsidiary of CEO Cha Ga Won’s One Hundred in May of the following year.
However, amid a series of controversies surrounding CEO Cha Ga Won, EXO-CBX notified contract termination last April, citing unpaid settlement payments and other reasons.
Currently, CEO Cha Ga Won is suspected of receiving a large advance payment after proposing and signing a contract with Nomus Co., Ltd. to use intellectual property (IP) of artists belonging to hee agency, but failing to actually carry out the business. The damage is estimated to be about ₩30.0 billion KRW (about $22.3 million USD).
As a result, CEO Cha Ga Won was indicted and detained last month and is scheduled for her first trial on the 13th of next month.
