According to the police, a man in his 40s was arrested on charges of robbery and assault after trespassing into actress Kim Gyuri’s home in an attempt to steal money.
The man fled after another woman living with Kim Gyuri discovered the robbery. It was reported that the woman living with Kim was injured in the process.
In the 112 phone call received, she stated, “A robber tried to tie me up.”
The police eventually caught the man in Hwagok-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul, about three hours after the crime.
The Jongno Police Station is currently investigating whether the crime was premeditated and is considering applying for an arrest warrant.
