A popular K-Pop group has gained attention for their thoughts on renewing their contracts before the so-called 7-year curse.

TXT (also known as TOMORROW x TOGETHER) concluded their festival 2026 DREAM WEEK celebrating their 7th debut anniversary, sharing heartfelt thoughts.

DREAM WEEK is an annual event held around their debut day (March 4), where TXT connect with their global fanbase MOA. This year, they offered touching and entertaining content reflecting on the past seven years. Starting with the timetable on February 20, content such as DREAMGRAPHY, 2026.txt, ASMR, DAY & NIGHT Medley Live, and TXT Diary were released sequentially, culminating with the final piece, Voice of the Stars.

The Voice of the Stars video, released at midnight on their debut day, revealed the members’ sincere feelings. Presented as a chat with their rookie selves, the members discussed worries about their activities, music, and communication with fans. Each member reflected on the past, offering advice based on their individual experiences.

Mentions of their contract renewal drew attention as well. The five members, who renewed their contracts with BIGHIT Music last year, unanimously stated, “We had no doubts. We were determined to continue. All of us share a deep passion for music and immense love for the team and our fans.” When asked about their future goals, they said, “We want to be recognized as number one by everyone,” showing their unwavering enthusiasm. They also expressed their fondness for MOA, saying, “In the past, they were a presence we were grateful for but also scared to leave. Now, MOA feels like a comforting friend.”

At the end of the video, it was revealed that the chat partner was not an actual rookie junior, but their past selves at that time. The members had a conversation with a conversational AI trained on records of their first year after debut. Facing their past selves, they conveyed their genuine feelings with a stronger resolve. “There were days filled with worries and sleepless nights. Overcoming them was not easy, but I did so in my own way,” they encouraged their former selves.

Marking their 7th anniversary, they said, “Maintaining anything for seven years is not easy. It was possible because of the members and MOA. With them, there is nothing to fear moving forward. We will continue to work hard and fill our lives with small happinesses.”

TXT will release their 8th mini-album 7th YEAR: When the Wind Stops in the Thorn Bush on April 13 at 6pm. As the first group album since renewing their contract with BIGHIT Music, this release is highly anticipated as the start of a new chapter.
