In the episode airing on the 6th on KBS 2TV Fun-Staurant, former Wonder Girls‘ Sunye is shown going through a busy day as she transforms from the original national girl group fairy into a home-cooked meal fairy. She invites girl group colleagues with whom she shares memories from her days as a Wonder Girls member. Attention is focused on what stories will unfold when these legendary girl group members who dominated an era come together on Fun-Staurant.
In the teaser revealed, Sunye says, “I invited some special friends,” piquing curiosity. Considering her friends’ tastes, Sunye prepared menus that both Koreans and foreigners would enjoy using her own Korean home meal recipes developed during her 10 years living in Canada.
Shortly after, her friends arrived. The special friends Sunye mentioned were Yubin, the eldest member of the original national girl group Wonder Girls, and Kahi, leader of the charismatic performance girl group After School. The three enjoyed the delicious dishes Sunye prepared while naturally sharing memories from their girl group days. Kahi asked Sunye and Yubin, “What did you guys do for fun?” expressing curiosity about the Wonder Girls’ mischief.
Yubin and Sunye revealed, “As soon as Sunye and Yeeun became adults, we all went clubbing together,” catching attention. The idea that members of the national girl group went clubbing together during their peak popularity surprised everyone. In particular, Yubin said, “We went on a club tour with PD Park Jin Young,” raising even more curiosity. Why did Park Jin Young visit clubs with the Wonder Girls?
