Byeon Woo Seok is hugely popular and has been praised for his past projects, but this has changed ahead of the release of the Perfect Crown, alongside IU.
Recently, the trailers and teasers for the upcoming K-Drama were shared online, and it sparked major attention on Korean forums, including on theqoo, where a post has almost 50,000 views and over 900 comments.
Sadly, the comments have seemingly turned on Byeon Woo Seok, criticizing his acting and how everything in the trailer seems cheesy, with a focus on his delivery of the lines. Netizens even brought up idols like BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo and ASTRO‘s Cha Eunwoo, explaining that they get hate despite not being full-time actors but someone like Byeon Woo Seok continues to get roles without any concerns for his “lack” of talent.

The drama feels really cheesy.
I watched it thinking “how bad could it be?” lol… At first, when he was getting angry I thought, okay, even if he’s not good, he’s trying hard. But when he said, “Prepare to become the Grand Prince’s wife,” I completely lost it.
It’s not easy to already have terrible acting starting from the teaser…I mean, at least Cha Eun Woo and Jisoo are at least handsome/pretty…
