According to MyDaily on March 15, 2026 (KST), WINNER‘s Mino attended the VIP premiere for the K-Movie Method Acting at Megabox COEX in Seoul held on March 13. He was reportedly invited by his actor best friend, Lee Dong Hwi, who stars in the film.

While it is common for close friends to attend VIP premieres, considering Mino’s current situation, some may question whether the appearance was necessary.

According to legal sources, the Seoul Western District Court will hold the first hearing on April 21 for Mino and a facility manager, Mr. Lee, who has been indicted for alleged violations of the Military Service Act. The first hearing had originally been scheduled for March 24, but the court approved a request from Mino’s legal team to postpone the date.
Mino is currently accused of failing to properly report to work and neglecting key duties—including handling public complaints—while serving as a public service worker at a facility in Mapo District, Seoul, from March 2023 to December 2024. According to prosecutors, he was absent without permission for 102 out of 430 working days.
