According to Jeff Satur’s agency, Studio On Saturn, Jeff filmed the project in 2023 “in the expectation that the relevant arrangements would be properly finalized through the usual process.” However, no final written agreement happened, and as such, Studio On Saturn hasn’t approved the release of the series or its promotional material.
Statement dated April 17, 2026
Studio On Saturn wishes to clarify our position regarding the series Wooju Bakery/Wuju Bakery(우주빵집).

Furthermore, the agency claims it was kept in the dark about the drama’s status and release plan, and knew no more about Wooju Bakery than fans did. A final cut of the series wasn’t given to the agency for review, and Jeff wasn’t paid. Studio On Saturn stated that they reached out through their lawyer on March 31, but the matter still hasn’t been resolved. Now, legal action has been taken to “protect the artist’s rights and interests and to seek appropriate clarification”.
Fans who have sided with Jeff and his agency are hoping he receives compensation for his work and that everything is put to rights soon.
what do you mean you didn’t pay your actors, disregarded all means of communication to settle things, and still chose to release the series w/o their consent. evil. this is so disrespectful on so many different levels. everyone do no support any content of wooju bakery.

I think this statement is quite clear about the studio’s stand regarding what is happening. It pains me to read that Jeff was not paid for the project and I do hope everyone else was paid (but I have a feeling they weren’t) #WoojuBakery https://t.co/4Ah2JgKkdL

so when some of us were mad because something was wrong we were being called anti and being blocked but we were right in the end. everything about this seemed fishy that company never respected the actors and i’m so glad SOS are suing their ass for making profits illegaly. https://t.co/mP27fK5mxO
