A female K-Pop idol directly clarified remarks about her husband and the OB/GYN, after the topic sparked controversy.
On the 23rd, a video featuring Rainbow members was released on Woori’s YouTube channel.
In the video, Rainbow members Noeul, Woori, and Yoonhye shared candid and relatable “married talk” about the realities of pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting from their individual perspectives. Noeul, who is preparing for pregnancy, Woori, who is currently pregnant, and Yoonhye, who is already parenting after childbirth, honestly exchanged their experiences.
In particular, Yoonhye addressed Woori’s earlier statement that she was going to the OB/GYN alone without her husband.
Previously, Woori had drawn attention when she revealed that she went to the OB/GYN alone, saying, “My husband is not the type to go to places like that. He’s the kind who says, ‘Why should I?’ Also, there’s really nothing for him to do there. I thought it’d be better not to have him come. Forcing him to come and sit there would probably just stress him out more.”
To this, Woori clarified, “Now we go to the OB/GYN together.”
She added, “Actually, we went together around five or six weeks into the pregnancy. But my husband said the fetus was the size of a bean and kept saying, ‘It’s a bean, a bean.’ What I meant earlier was that during the IVF preparation period, I went to the OB/GYB alone. So I said we didn’t go together. I think I misspoke. I apologized to my husband. I exaggerated to make it sound funny,” she explained again.
Woori married a businessman five years her senior in 2022 and is currently pregnant.
