K-Pop soloist Ailee and her Single’s Inferno star husband Choi Si Hun weren’t expecting much when they decided to check on their scalp health, but the results they received were anything but routine.

The couple recently documented their visit to a scalp care center on their YouTube channel, following an emotional update about their ongoing fertility journey. After revealing that their first round of IVF had failed due to unsuccessful implantation, the two have been actively seeking treatments to improve their chances moving forward.
While visiting a clinic to undergo circulation-focused therapy aimed at improving uterine health, Ailee remained optimistic, sharing her plans to try IVF again after receiving additional care. “I’ll work hard on treatment and share good news if we get results,” she said, holding onto hope.

After undergoing testing, Ailee was the first to receive her results, which placed her just on the brink of hair loss—already an unexpected outcome.
However, it was Choi Si Hun’s diagnosis that truly stunned them both.
With a hair loss index of 91%, his condition was revealed to be significantly more severe. The shocking number left him visibly shaken and at a loss for words, turning what began as a casual check-up into a moment of real concern.
Despite the unexpected results, the couple continues to openly share both the highs and lows of their journey—drawing support from fans as they navigate health challenges together.
