    She’s pulled in billions.

When BLACKPINK‘s Jennie left YG Entertainment, many wondered what was next. Turns out, going independent was one of the smartest moves she could have made.

OA Entertainment, short for “Odd Atelier,” was founded in November 2023 as a one-woman agency, with Jennie owning 100% of the company and her mother serving as CEO. In just two years, she’s pulled in ₩23.8 billion KRW (about $16.3 million USD) in settlement payments alone.

₩9.50 billion KRW (about $6.50 million USD) were paid to her in 2025, while the remaining ₩14.3 billion KRW (about $9.78 million USD) came in 2024.

The company has seemingly been profitable from day one. Recent reports revealed that OA revenue hit ₩18.9 billion KRW (about $12.9 million USD) in its first full year, growing another 26% to ₩23.8 billion KRW (about $16.3 million USD) last year.

Operating profit dipped 33%, but that’s largely down to timing, with Jennie personally loaning the company ₩2.86 billion KRW (about $1.96 million USD) to cover the gap between expenses and incoming payments.

    Congratulations to Jennie!
