Actress Lee Da Hee opened up about a past long-term relationship and heartbreaking breakup experience.
On a recent episode of Gugidong Friends, Lee Da Hee joined Jang Do Yeon and Kyung Soo Jin for an honest “girls talk” conversation while discussing love, dating, and marriage.
During the conversation, Lee Da Hee revealed she had previously dated someone for around three years and admitted the breakup affected her deeply. Lee Da Hee shared that she had desperately tried to save the relationship after her boyfriend wanted to end things.
“I’ve lost weight from heartbreak before. When I broke up with someone I had been with for a long time, I couldn’t do anything. We dated for around three years, and when he said he wanted to break up, I kept trying to hold on.”
She explained that the emotional pain became overwhelming, even during a family trip.
“My heart hurt so much that my family and I went to Ulsan, but I still couldn’t do anything. Even now when I think about it, my chest hurts.”
The actress revealed the two eventually got back together and dated for quite a while afterward before ultimately separating again. However, unlike the first time, she said she found peace because she felt she had done everything she could.
