MC Mong has shaded THE BOYZ, exposed some members of a gambling ring, and more in his livestream.
MC Mong held a livestream today, May 18 KST, where he talked about various things related to him, including an investigation by MBC‘s PD’s Notebook into himself. He first spoke about how when his tooth extraction scandal came out, he was already exempt from the military due to both a herniated disc and a torn ligament in his knee, but he followed a script his lawyers prepared for him instead.
He also talked about the allegations of prostitution made against him, claiming that Cha Ga Won‘s uncle was the one who started the rumor and set up the framing of the picture of him in the elevator with his girlfriend as with a prostitute instead.

MC Mong also expressed his anger towards THE BOYZ, who ONE HUNDRED signed as a group after they left IST in December 2024. According to MC Mong, ONE HUNDRED offered each member of THE BOYZ (11 at the time), ₩1.50 billion KRW (about $1.00 million USD) each as their guarantee to join the company, triple the offer that IST made. Because of this amount of money, MC Mong shared how shocked he was when they decided to leave, questioning whether they should be paying back at least some of what they received.
During the livestream, one of his focuses was a multi-billion-dollar illegal gambling ring. He exposed Cha Ga Won’s uncle’s secretary and Kim Ho Joong’s agency CEO as two of the people who are involved. He listed two others, including a relatively well-known singer and a veteran actor who was in a relationship with Cha Ga Won for five years, but did not reveal their identities, instead saying he would reveal their names if he gets sued.
MC Mong also spoke about how Cha Ga Won’s uncle tried to rope EXO‘s Baekhyun into the gambling ring, telling Baekhyun to join him on his Las Vegas trip, where he would give Baekhyun ₩1.00 billion KRW (about $668,000 USD).
Previously, MC Mong co-founded the company One Hundred with Chairman Cha Gawon in 2023. Last year, he became embroiled in malicious rumors regarding conflicts with Chairman Cha and an alleged affair. Currently, One Hundred is embroiled in legal disputes with its affiliated artists and has also been sued by THE BOYZ for embezzlement.
