THE BOYZ’s Younghoon voluntarily addressed issues with his agency and expressed gratitude toward the production team.
On the morning of May 20, at the TV CHOSUN global survival show King of Survival 2 press conference held at the TV Chosun Gasan-dong studio in Geumcheon-gu, Seoul, Younghoon showed discomfort when asked about recent agency issues.
When reporters brought up the topic, he responded, “Are you really going to ask me that far?” The event moderator then drew a line, saying, “Today, we agreed to talk about King of Survival 2, so please understand that we won’t discuss agency matters.”
However, toward the end of the event, Younghoon voluntarily spoke up, saying he had something to share despite no related questions being asked: “I felt lost and very frustrated because of company issues.”
He continued, “I had a lot of worries about whether I could continue my activities well. Would I be able to see my fans again? At that time, I met the PD. He said, ‘Let’s do this together,’ and I thought, ‘I can show myself to many people.’ I am grateful that I was called upon in this situation. I really wanted to say this.”
In response, Kim Byung Man joked, “Your face looks like a pure romance comic, but your actions are like Kim Byung Man.”
THE BOYZ, which includes Younghoon, is currently involved in a dispute with MC Mong. Earlier in February, nine members of the group, excluding member New, notified ONE HUNDRED through legal representatives of their termination of exclusive contracts.
