On May 21, rapper Sleepy posted a video on his YouTube channel and shared details about his friendship with BTS’s Jin and how it eventually fell off.
In regard to their first meeting, he stated, “We became close after going on ‘Law of the Jungle’ together. It was before he hit number one on the Billboard charts. I asked him to buy me food, and we ate together. I have a memory of him buying me a meal even though it was a difficult time for him.”
He also proved their close relationship by releasing a video of Jin and mentioning him on a radio show. He confessed that their friendship changed afterward.
We were close, but I ended up getting into a lawsuit. Things went wrong with the company. Meanwhile, BTS topped the Billboard chart and became global stars.

Whenever Seokjin sent me a KakaoTalk message, I posted it on social media. He let it slide once or twice, but I kept posting them.

He later revealed this story on the show program Radio Star.
I went on the show and told this story. To be honest, I wanted attention. We didn’t stay in touch after the article came out.

In the video, Sleepy expressed his deepest apologies to Jin.
I was wrong. I want to say that I am truly sorry. I went to a wedding once, saw him there, and had all sorts of thoughts about whether to apologize, but I just went home.
