They announced that the individual who produced and sold a deepfake video of the two members had been found guilty. The verdict sentenced them to two years and six months in prison, 80 hours of a sexual violence treatment program, and a seven-year employment restriction at institutions related to children and youth.
They are also closely monitoring reports from fans and various platforms, as they have continued to see huge results as announced in the previous quarter.
They have also filed criminal complaints with investigative authorities for malicious comments that violate various laws.
They emphasized that they will respond strongly, with no leniency, and will make every effort to protect their artists.
While relieved to see the company taking action, many fans were disappointed with the prison sentence.

It’s so sad to see someone who produces deepfake videos of celebrities only get two and a half years in prison. I mean, I’m glad they got some type of punishment, but I hope they work even harder to crack down on digital sex crimes against female idols.
