Recently, EVAN (formerly ENHYPEN‘s Heeseung) released his first single following his departure from ENHYPEN, “Ride or Die.”

Reactions have been mixed, with some expressing surprise over the initial results of his streaming. His first music show appearance also came with some negative reactions focused on his visuals.

Recently, the idol was involved in some criticism directed towards one of his alleged friends and producers.
While EVAN was still in ENHYPEN, the group released “Knife,” and included 7 different member specific remixes on the album. A producer known as Apro was involved in the mixing of this track, and other production aspects of “Ride or Die.” To fans, he is also known as a friend of EVAN’s and someone who would share spoilers.
On June 25, Apro shared an Instagram story with four dashes and two letters placed on the middle two dashes. It appears it was meant to spell EVAN, but was missing the EN, something potentially seen as a reference to ENHYPEN.
Apro then liked a story focusing on the EN being missing, and asking if it was a spoiler.
Some saw this as “shade” towards ENHYPEN, which is stylized as EN-, looping EVAN in with the assumption that he would join his friends in their supposed badmouthing.
