TREASURE‘s Junkyu will be temporarily halting activities due to health-related issues. On June 29, YG Entertainment announced through an official statement that the idol would be taking a break in order to focus on rest and recovery.
According to the agency, Junkyu had continued participating in promotions despite experiencing ongoing health difficulties. However, after discussions between the artist, those around him, and the company, it was determined that he needs time away from schedules. As a result, Junkyu will not be participating in TREASURE’s upcoming activities for the time being.

We would like to inform you that TREASURE member Kim Junkyu will be taking a break for the time being. TREASURE completed the official broadcast promotions for their mini album last week.
During this time, Junkyu continued to do his best for team activities despite struggling with poor physical condition. However, based on both his own opinion that he needs focused rest and stability for the time being, as well as the judgment of those around him, it has been decided that he will temporarily suspend activities and take a period of rest.
Accordingly, Junkyu will be unable to participate in upcoming TREASURE activities for the time being, and he will also be unable to take part in the filming of the music video (P/V) for the B-side track “DANGER,” which is scheduled to be filmed soon. We ask for your generous understanding.
