Lol, these two are not who I would have bet on choosing a romance K-drama these days. K-ent is reporting that Kim Ji Hoon and Park Joo Hyun will star in TV Chosun drama Sigor Amour, to be filmed later this year with a 2027 release date. It tells the story of the male lead who is an insolvency lawyer who gets involved in a traditional market group of quirky hardworking folks and finds a community of love and family. The female lead is former police officer who has returned to her hometown to take over the family butcher stall. This sounds like Hometown Cha Cha Cha and those type of dramas which are hit and miss with ratings but overall I’m happy smaller networks are still producing K-dramas and find this pairing different enough to be intriguing.
