TV star Kim Won Hee tried to recreate one of BLACKPINK Jennie’s most talked-about looks, and even she could not stop laughing at the result.
On July 8, the veteran show host updated her personal account with photos of herself attempting Jennie’s Met Gala hairstyle. The look featured an updo with dramatic face-framing strands, instantly recognizable to fans who remembered Jennie’s appearance at the global fashion event. Rather than acting overly serious about the transformation, Kim Won Hee joked that the blame was entirely on her.
According to Kim Won Hee, she had simply asked for an updo, only for her stylist to enthusiastically offer to recreate Jennie’s Met Gala look instead. She then jokingly apologized to the stylist for not being able to pull it off as well as the BLACKPINK member did.

Netizens were just as complimentary. Many praised Kim Won Hee’s elegant beauty, with some even claiming that she did not lose to Jennie at all.
