Kim Jong Kook has shown off his wife’s love for him, revealing what she prepares for him after their marriage.
On September 8th, KBS 2TV entertainment program Problem Child in House released a preview titled “Newlywed Kim Jong Kook’s Diet Approved by Woo Chang Yoon & Lee Jong Min.”
The video featured endocrinologist Woo Chang Yoon and rehabilitation medicine specialist Lee Jong Min, who personally lost 52kg (from 100kg to 48kg), reviewing the MCs’ diets.
When Kim Jong Kook’s diet was revealed, Yang Se Chan responded, “Is your wife the one who prepares it? That’s typical of a newlywed.”
Kim Jong Kook replied, “My wife made it. I can’t eat like that myself,” explaining that the meals were prepared by his wife. Breakfast included chicken breast fried rice and Greek yogurt topped with nuts and blueberries.
Kim Jong Kook explained, “For lunch, I eat soybean noodles. My wife makes the soybean broth from scratch at home, then prepares the noodles.” For dinner, he added that he ate his usual favorite, rice lettuce wraps.
Hearing this, Joo Woo Jae admired, “You really do live together,” and Yang Se Chan expressed envy, joking, “I want to get married,” which drew laughs.
Hong Jin Kyung asked Kim Jong Kook, “Are you a ‘three-meals-a-day guy’?” referring to whether he consistently eats three homemade meals daily. Kim Jong Kook smiled sheepishly and replied, “It’s the weekend and we don’t have kids yet, so that’s why.”
Endocrinologist Woo Chang Yoon, after seeing Kim Jong Kook’s diet, said, “The protein amount is quite high but seems sufficient for Jong Kook,” adding, “The wrap vegetables are thick and dense, and seaweed is a good source of dietary fiber.” He went on to call the diet “the best,” giving Kim Jong Kook’s diet a passing grade.
