A top K-Pop idol revealed that she is seriously considering freezing her eggs.
On the July 16 episode of MBC’s variety show Save Me! Holmes, Yang Se Chan, Ahn Jae Hyun, fromis_9 member Chaeyoung, and Girls’ Generation (also known as SNSD) member Hyoyeon visited the home of a shopping mall CEO in Hannam-dong.
The featured house, filled with art pieces, stylish interiors, and a luxury dressing room, drew admiration from the cast. After the tour, Yang Se Chan asked the CEO, “Do you have any advice you’d like to give to single women in their 20s and 30s?” The CEO answered, “I would tell them to freeze their eggs.”
She explained, “Storing eggs gives peace of mind and reduces urgency. Whenever women in their late 30s ask for advice, I always say the same thing.” Hearing this, Hyoyeon honestly shared, “I’m really thinking about it too. It’s the right age for me.”
The CEO added, “If you store eggs when you’re young and healthy, it brings mental relief. Freeze your eggs and enjoy life.”
Watching the video again in the studio, Hyoyeon said, “It was the first time I heard this directly. She lived the most glamorous life among the women I know.”
