An idol-turned-actress may become neighbors with BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, among other celebrities, with her latest move.
According to a report on October 22nd, Suzy, originally from the group missA, recently signed a sales contract for L’ARBRE 27, a high-end residential complex located in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
L’ARBRE 27 is a luxury villa currently under construction, with the top-floor super penthouse reportedly priced as high as ₩40.0 billion KRW (about $30.1 million USD). The building will consist of 27 units spanning five basement floors to seven aboveground floors.
The residences are offered as garden houses, terrace houses, and penthouses. While it is unclear which type Suzy purchased or the exact price, it has attracted attention due to being an independent ultra-luxury residence.
Moreover, the building has drawn attention as actor Jang Keun Suk, Shin Se Kyung, TV personality Seo Jang Hoon, and BLACKPINK’s Jisoo have also recently signed contracts. There is curiosity over whether Suzy will become their neighbor.
Suzy is currently preparing for her next project, Disney+’s Portraits of Delusion. Set in 1935 Gyeongseong, the story follows painter Yoon Yi Ho, who is commissioned to paint the portrait of Song Jeong Hwa, a captivating woman shrouded in mystery who has not been seen outside for over half a century. As he gets closer to her secrets, various incidents unfold.
Suzy will play Song Jeong Hwa, acting alongside actor Kim Seon Ho, who plays Yoon Yi Ho. Portraits of Delusion is set to be released later this year.
