A top K-Pop revealed the unusual reason she once went to the emergency room surprising many.
On a recent episode of JTBC variety show Please Take Care of My Refrigerator, Uhm Jung Hwa and Girls’ Generation‘s Choi Sooyoung appeared as guests.
On the show, Choi Sooyoung said, “Once I find something delicious, I keep eating it. During a company dinner, I ate kimchi noodle soup. I like eating it with meat,” she opened up.
She added, “While eating that, suddenly my head was hurting so much. I felt so full that blood wasn’t flowing properly. I went to the emergency room and vomited everything out, and then I felt better,” which surprised viewers.
When asked if she kept eating despite feeling uncomfortable, Choi Sooyoung answered, “The thought of it being delicious was stronger than feeling full.” Chef Yoon Nam No said, “I know what that’s like,” adding, “I’m good at that. I went to the emergency room once too.”
Yoon Nam No recalled, “In my mid-20s, I ate Korean beef two-plus grade for the first time at a company dinner. The taste was so overwhelming. Between soju and the food I ate, it was about 1.1 kg. My oxygen supply got cut off.”
Responding to this, Choi Sooyoung emphasized, “I love eating too much. I really love delicious food,” bringing laughter.
