A popular K-Pop idol confessed that she had a man taken away by a close friend, evoking sympathy from netizens.
On August 5th, the YouTube channel No Back Tak posted a video titled “Hyolyn, a tanning addict who intensifies her business during the summer season.”
In the video, Hyolyn, originally from the group SISTAR, said, “I can’t pretend to be sly. I once had my boyfriend taken by a close friend. I let it go coolly.”
She continued, “What could I do when they said, ‘We will love each other’? If it were now, I wouldn’t leave it be. I would quickly find a boyfriend too.”
She added, “I’m confident I won’t lose a man. My charm is my back and silhouette. Biologically, women need to receive a lot of love from men. I like being back-hugged. That’s my favorite kind of physical affection.”
Hyolyn also said, “If I drink alcohol in front of a guy I like, I think I need to stay sharp and be more spirited. If a woman next to him acts dizzy, I’d probably think to myself, ‘She’s just playing around,’” causing laughter.
