Lee Min-jung and Kim Ji-suk agree to Okay Let’s Divorce

From marriage to divorce, KBS’s upcoming Okay Let’s Divorce (roughly translated) follows the heated relationship between Lee Min-jung (Once Again) and Kim Ji-suk (New Recruit 2) as their 7-year marriage unravels at the seams.
The newly released teaser opens with a wedding march as bride Baek Mi-young (Lee Min-jung) walks down the aisle to tie the knot with her groom Ji Won-ho (Kim Ji-suk). However, what felt like fate between the two turns into a question mark as the teaser skips past their honeymoon phase and drops them right into their ongoing war.
Mi-young and Won-ho aren’t just life partners but also business. They run the wedding dress brand J & White and maintain the image of collaborative co-founders within company walls. However, the moment the curtain falls, their true personalities come to the forefront as they butt heads constantly and get into fights.
Mi-young barks at her husband to mind his own business, and Won-ho huffs at his wife for treating him less than the neighborhood dog. With both sides growing tired of the relationship, they blame the other for their problems and refuse to acknowledge their own shortcomings. At this point, a divorce seems preferable to this toxic marriage, and Mi-young might agree since she tosses her wedding band into the river. As the couple holds another showdown, Won-ho starts to declare something until the scene cuts to Mi-young in a face mask about to curse him out.
Also in the cast are Lee Hyun-jin (Gold Mask) and Lee Jini (The Dream Life of Mr. Kim) as the other half of this love square, gearing up to stir the pot. Directed by PD Joo Sung-woo (Man in the Kitchen) and written by Hwang Ji-eon, KBS’s Okay Let’s Divorce is slated for twelve episodes and premieres August 19 in the Wednesday-Thursday slot.
