Jungkook first began getting tattoos publicly in 2019, starting with smaller designs before adding more and more pieces over the years. His collection includes meaningful tributes to BTS and ARMY, personal symbols, phrases, and artwork inspired by his own life.
As his collection continued to grow, Jungkook’s tattoos eventually covered nearly his entire right arm, extending from his shoulder down toward his fingertips. What started as a few small pieces ultimately became his now-iconic full-sleeve tattoo, which has seen some alterations throughout the years.

With how personal so many of his tattoos are, a recent incident has sparked backlash.
A tattoo artist recently shared a video of her work on a client, showing designs almost identical to Jungkook’s own sleeve.
PolyC, the artist behind many of Jungkook’s reworked tattoos, commented on the post, expressing feelings of “disrespect” over the copying.
In response, the artist claimed that their client was deeply impacted by Jungkook, resulting in the tattoo, and that they saw things from another perspective.
This response inspired more debate and criticism, saying that regardless of one’s feelings about a celebrity, copying something personal to them should not happen.
