Lisa was accused of saying the n-word in alleged leaked videos.
Allegedly Leaked Videos Of BLACKPINK Saying The N-Word Surface Online
On October 12, Lisa is set to release a documentary and has been teasing what fans can expect.
Ahead of the release of Lisa’s documentary, it hinted that Lisa would be speaking about the controversy.
During Lisa’s year of being documented, a tape from her trainee days gets leaked, showing her, along with other Blackpink members, practicing how to rap by covering English-language songs that include the n-word.

Yet, it sparked a wave of backlash towards the idol, despite implying that she would be the first of the members to address the issue.
In particular, many thought it seemed “fake” for Lisa to talk about the issue an entire year after the video leaked and to use it to promote her documentary, when it is an issue that hurt many fans. Others added that, considering it had been so long, if any of the members apologized, they wouldn’t accept it.
no but Lisa is so fucking fake actually. so now you want to apologize for saying a whole slur, making it this big point of YOUR documentary, after a whole year? yeah fuck her!
