Over the years, SM Entertainment has often introduced trainees before their official debuts through SM Rookies. In recent years, members of NCT, aespa, and RIIZE were all part of SM Rookies before making their official debuts in groups, along with other well-known trainees.

Last year, the latest set of SM Rookies, SMTR25, was introduced, with plans for the trainees to become members of SM Entertainment’s upcoming boy group. The current trainee group has already begun promoting in various ways, including the variety show Reply High School.
It appears that more trainees believed to be in the group’s final line-up have exited.
A netizen claimed to have seen Kassho, who participated in the variety show and in the survival show NCT: LASTART, out in public.

During the alleged sighting in Japan, Kassho was seen walking arm in arm with a woman in matching clothing.

Fans have reacted with surprise, with some reflecting on previous rumors that the star would be getting married. Other wished him the best in his future endeavors if his departure is true.
