Former ARrC member Park Hyunmin has opened up about his life after the group unexpectedly disbanded, revealing that he is now working multiple part-time jobs while trying to figure out his next step.
Park first became known after competing on Mnet’s Boys Planet in 2023. He later debuted as a member of ARrC in August 2024 under Mystic Story. The group disbanded in June 2026, less than two years after their debut.
Following the disbandment, Hyunmin decided to start a YouTube channel called Gwangjin City Boy. He recently shared a video documenting a 155-kilometer walk from Seoul to Jecheon, which has since surpassed 700,000 views.
But it’s a recent interview with Yonhap News TV that made the former idol top Naver’s most read topics of the day, after he revealed he is currently working around four part-time jobs.
I was an idol for about a year and 10 months, and now I’m trying to live diligently and responsibly while working around four part-time jobs.

Park explained that he currently has two regular part-time jobs while also taking on daily work at a Coupang logistics center and construction sites.
Despite the difficult work, Park said he feels surprisingly comfortable and happy with his current life.
It’s hard. But surprisingly, I’ve never felt this comfortable or happy in my life. The fact that I’m now the one in control of my own life makes me feel so comfortable and happy.

Although his life looks very different from it did during his time as an idol, Park has no intention of permanently giving up music.
Even when I’m carrying packages at the logistics center or just eating, I keep thinking, ‘The place where I belong is the stage.’ I don’t know how long it will take, but I’m definitely going to return to the stage. You can consider that a certainty.
