On September 27 (local time), BLACKPINK member Lisa attended the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards, becoming a hot topic on social media.

Lisa made a strong impression right from her entrance on the red carpet. The idol wore a sheer red form-fitting dress by The Attico. But the real showstopper was her fuzzy, dramatic coat by Quine Li. A high ponytail with her iconic bangs making a glorious return tied the whole look together.

Thanks to the theatrics of this red-carpet look, Lisa quickly drew massive attention on social media. However, the reaction to her appearance has been surprisingly divided. On the one hand, people were left swooning, calling it one of the best looks of the night.

However, there was much criticism as well. Some hated the look so much that they were convinced her stylist was conspiring against her.

For any bold fashion moment, it is not unusual for celebrities to receive extreme opinions. But Lisa surely made head turns with her VMAs red carpet look, whatever be the reason.
