Kim Hye-yoon is gumiho no more with No Tail to Tell
by tccolb
The scales have always tipped in our gumiho’s favor. But now she has No Tail to Tell on SBS and as we head into premiere week, a new video teaser has dropped, unveiling the meet-mistake between gumiho Kim Hye-yoon (Lovely Runner) and human Lomon (Family Matters).
There’s much to enjoy while living in the mortal realm and the immortal Eun-ho (Kim Hye-yoon) makes the most of all the pleasures to be had, gallivanting from the beach to the mall, and taking part in whatever she fancies at any time. Time and money are at her disposal, after all. However, there is a rhyme and reason to the use of her fox powers and Eun-ho has been careful not to disturb the natural order of the powers-that-be.
That is, of course, until Eun-ho encounters Kang Shi-yeol (Lomon). At this point in our tale, Shi-yeol is struggling to make ends meet, working part-time jobs on the side while he pursues his football/soccer dreams. Eun-ho foretells that Shi-yeol will soon become number one and we know from previous promos that he will indeed become a world star athlete. But presumably Eun-ho’s ~magic~ here somehow caused an imbalance and despite her refusal, our gumiho is now doomed destined to become human.
Filling out our story world, the teaser gives us a glimpse of some of the supporting cast as well, including Jang Dong-joo (Trigger), In Gyo-jin (Namib), Hong Soo-hyun (Beyond the Bar), and Joo Jin-mo (Unmasked).
The fantasy rom-com is set to begin on January 16, broadcasting in SBS’s weekend slot. Production for No Tail To Tell has PD Kim Jung-kwon (Maestra – Strings of Truth, Love to Hate You) at the helm and scripts co-penned by Park Chan-young (The Best Chicken) and Jo Ah-young (The Best Chicken).
