Han Ji-min studies the Practical Guide to Love between two suitors

What is love, and how does one go about attaining it? In The Practical Guide to Love, an upcoming JTBC rom-com, a careerwoman resolves to revitalize her languishing love life by attending blind dates. Based on the webtoon of the same name, the drama has released both a poster and a teaser in a sneak peek of what’s to come.
Han Ji-min (Heavenly Ever After) stars as Lee Eui-young, the manager of a hotel’s purchasing team. Despite progressing leaps and bounds career-wise with her exceptional skills and colleagues’ admiration, Eui-young is significantly less successful in the romance department. Now that she’s in her thirties, Eui-young finds herself yearning for a heart-fluttering love. With that, she decides to take the first proactive step.
Her first blind date match is Park Sung-hoon (Squid Game 3) as Song Tae-seob, the mild-mannered founder of a woodworking studio. As sturdy as the wood he uses for his craft, Tae-seob wants to build a stable family with his future partner.
As for Eui-young’s second suitor, Lee Ki-taek (Namib) plays Shin Ji-soo, who spontaneously steps in for someone else and finds himself on a blind date that far exceeds his expectations. Although he’s always preferred natural encounters that later blossom into romance, Ji-soo winds up falling hard and fast for Eui-young.
It seems both prospective boyfriends are determined to stir up our heroine’s heart. “Did you get home safely that day?” asks Ji-soo, sparking tender memories of the pair lying side-by-side at a playground. Meanwhile, Tae-seob takes a more direct approach after a tension-filled home date with Eui-young. “You left your clothes at my place yesterday,” says Tae-seob. Cue a prideful face-off between the men as Eui-young shrivels up in between, oops.
Torn between the two suitors who couldn’t be more different, Eui-young finds herself confronted by the question that flashes across the elevator screen. “Who will you choose?” Well, I know which side I’m rooting for (and it’s a road straight to second-lead syndrome), but Eui-young’s choice isn’t as clear-cut. Will Eui-young manage to efficiently navigate straight to her lifelong partner, or will she wander about before getting there?
Directed by PD Lee Jae-hoon (Divorce Attorney Shin) with scripts written by Lee Yi-jin, The Practical Guide to Love is slated for a February 28 premiere.
