Yeonwoo combats Love Phobia with Kim Hyun-jin

Setting the mood for romance in sync with Valentine’s in the next month, LG’s U+ Mobile TV has kicked off promos for Love Phobia (transliterated title), entangling Yeonwoo (The Tale of Lady Ok) with Kim Hyun-jin (I Dol I) in the first video teaser and script reading stills.
Taking ~love~ into a virtual reality, our story’s prickly CEO Yoon Bi-ah (Yeonwoo) has co-founded an AI dating app called It’s You. And in the trailer, she defends that even if it’s not actually real, there are people who find use for things that are fake but realistic.
But while Bi-ah is all-in on the digital life, the opposite is true for bestseller romance novelist Han Sun-ho (Kim Hyun-jin), who turns his nose up at our heroine’s ‟knock-off” version of dating. And yet, Sun-ho somehow decides to collaborate with It’s You on their latest project.
In second lead roles, Bi-ah’s business partner and bestie is Jo Yoon-seo (Shark – The Storm) in the role of Seol Jae-hee, the co-CEO of It’s You. We also have Choi Byung-chan (Business Proposal) playing Sun-ho’s fraternal twin brother, the ever-curious Han Baek-ho who coincidentally ends up working at It’s You as well.
Rounding out the story world, the supporting cast includes Bi-ah’s mom and aspiring writer Im Ji-eun (Live Your Own Life), in addition to fellow writer Lee Ji-hae (Beyond the Bar). And at the It’s You office, we can expect to see senior staff member Kim Ki-nam (Captivating the King); the company brain Han Kyu-min (No Dating at Boarding School); and new hire Hwang Ha-jung (Cohabitation After School); as well as the team maknae Kim So-ha (Jeongnyeon – The Star is Born).
Directed by PD Wang Hye-ryung (Seasons of Blossom) with scripts by Lee Se-ryung (Please Summer), U+ Mobile TV’s Love Phobia will be launching on February 19.
