After work yesterday, I went over to the next town to deposit an important FedEx envelope at its regional service center. Nearby, I checked out to see the construction status of the new 80,000+ sq ft mega H Mart store. To my surprise, it was its Grand Opening! The parking lot was totally full with cars overwhelming the neighboring shopping center parking spaces. There was a police car at the entrance where more than 50 people were waiting to go inside (after being opened for 8 hours).
This massive grocery store will also feature a Korean food court and a cafe/lounge. It was too crowded to go in last night, but this may be my new “weekender.”
