Reasons to watch: ENA is stepping into the world of attorneys once more with their latest drama, Honour. Adapted from a Swedish series by the same name, the mystery thriller features Lee Na-young, Jung Eun-chae, and Lee Chung-ah as our leads.
The three women have been close friends since college, and in the years following graduation, they went on to work at the same law firm and have become known for championing women who’ve suffered at the hands of the rich and powerful. Many of their clients have been victims of sexual violence, so it’s not out of the ordinary for them to start digging into an online sex trafficking scheme. But as they work to uncover the operators of the scheme, a secret long-hidden in their past resurfaces. Though the secret is still a mystery for viewers right now, it’s something that our protagonists had hoped to take to the grave. With that secret lingering in the background, the women must find a way to stop the trafficking ring and the blackmail threatening to upend their lives.
Get ready for a story that centers strong female characters and friendships against a background of darkness and hope. While the cases that tie the drama together seem heavy, I think the main trio’s friendship and dedication to justice will keep the drama from feeling too doom and gloom.
