Who will Han Ji-min choose in The Practical Guide to Love?
by lovepark
The competition heats up in JTBC’s romantic-comedy The Practical Guide to Love as both Park Sung-hoon (Squid Game 3) and Lee Ki-taek (Namib) vie for Han Ji-min’s (Heavenly Ever After) affection. With two handsome men standing before her, who will our leading lady choose?
Lee Eui-young (Han Ji-min) is a successful career woman looking for romance, and after a couple of blind dates, she may have found her answer. Unfortunately, she may have been a little too good at this whole dating game since she winds up with not one but two possible suitors.
Enter Song Tae-sub (Park Sung-hoon), the neat and reliable bachelor who, by all accounts, should be her pick. As the two of them sit together in a church, he leans in for a kiss, but their memory is interrupted with a flabbergasted, “Is this true, Lee Eui-young?” On the other side of this happy dilemma is the energetic and young Shin Ji-soo (Lee Ki-taek), and now that both men know about the other’s existence, neither side is backing down.
Bachelor number 1 Song Tae-sub is like clear chicken soup. He offers to pick up Eui-young from work, dresses up in suits, and tells her that he does not care about efficiency when it comes to the things he loves. In contrast, bachelor number 2 Shin Ji-soo is explosive spicy chicken. He takes her out for drinks, drops honorifics despite being younger, rides a motorcycle, and promises Eui-young that he is a lot more fun than the other guy. Caught between sweet and fiery, Eui-young’s heart flutters for both, but there can only be one at the end of the day.
Directed by PD Lee Jae-hoon (Divorce Attorney Shin) with scripts penned by Lee Yi-jin, the webtoon adaptation is slated for twelve episodes and premieres February 28 in the Saturday-Sunday slot.
