In 2022, BTS released one of their most meaningful songs, “Yet to Come (The Most Beautiful Moment),” the title track for their Proof anthology album. “Yet to Come” celebrated BTS’s past while looking to the future.

The “Yet to Come” MV is filled with references to BTS’s past works. This includes the bus from their debut “No More Dream” MV and the You Never Walk Alone carousel from their 2017 “Spring Day” MV.

BTS is known to drop hints about upcoming releases, but not every hint is intentional…right? One ARMY found an unexpected “Yet to Come” connection while scanning old photos.
In this photo from 2019, Jin is wearing a sweatshirt with a crystal ball and the words, “The Best is yet to come.”

Ok so I’m working on scans from a 2019 japanese album and I just realised what was written on Jin’s shirt while editing it… 🥲 pic.twitter.com/muJTSjhhw7

This common phrase predates BTS’s hit single, and Jin’s shirt might not have anything to do with the song’s release, but it made ARMYs emotional all the same. To some, it seemed like a reassuring message from Jin, who became the first BTS member to enter the military in December 2022.
The fact that it’s Jin wearing it, it’s just what I needed today 🤷🏻♀️ like a message from him 🤷🏻♀️ also, the crystal ball makes it even better

i read somewhere that they planned to do their break in 2020 after the mots7 tour, but they continued group activities to keep up army’s spirits during the pandemic…if that’s the case then it makes sense that they had this ready in 2019…but either way this gave me goosebumps

“Yet to Come” also echoes part of the letter that BTS’s former manager Sejin wrote to the group back in 2016. He couldn’t have been more right!
If you’re feeling nostalgic or are in need of comfort, listen to “Yet to Come” here.
