Several female HYBE idols have come under serious ridicule ahead of the company’s upcoming survival show WORLD SCOUT, which aims to debut a new girl group.
It was announced that Japanese HYBE idols LE SSERAFIM‘s Sakura and Kazuha, alongside ILLIT‘s Moka and Iroha, would be part of the show.
Yet, ahead of the show premiering, a post about the idols joining the show, along with Sashihara Rino was shared.
It subjected the idols to serious backlash and ridicule, with netizens claiming that the idols shouldn’t be on the show in search of a new girl group due to criticism of their own talent. In particular, some of the idols mentioned have come under serious backlash for their vocals since debuting.

Yet, fans pointed out that the mentor role that the idols will seemingly have is different from judges, and that netizens are just malicious.
