The controversy surrounding KATSEYE member Manon’s hiatus has only grown more complicated.

After Daniela’s father, Rafael Avanzini, faced backlash for comments suggesting the group could continue without Manon, his original social media account was suddenly deactivated.

Soon after, a new account using his name appeared online.
The new account shared a post expressing love for his daughter and later claimed that the previous account had been banned due to mass reporting.
He also replied to multiple fans in the comments, attempting to clarify the situation.
In one response, he stated that Daniela had spoken with him before he made the earlier remarks about Manon — a claim that quickly sparked further outrage.
That statement led some fans to accuse Daniela of being aware of, or even approving, the comments made about her fellow member. As a result, criticism has now extended beyond her father and toward Daniela herself.

At the same time, other fans are questioning whether the new account is even authentic. Some noted changes to profile details and writing style, arguing that the account could be fake. Others believe the behavior matches his previous online activity.
I’ll let yall believe what yall want. His pfp is a personal photo he didn’t post on his page. His other pfp was completely different this one is updated. He limited his story comment, while also taking back what he said to Manon. Also saying his last page was mass reported
