Park Sung-woong learns to farm and Cabbage Your Life
by tccolb
A good stone’s throw away from Seoul’s bustling streets, our city slicker Park Sung-woong (Nine Puzzles) endeavors to Cabbage Your Life on KBS. And the newly dropped first teaser walks him to his doom new country home, kicking off a fish-out-of-water farming adventure for our hero as well as his family.
Having rose through the corporate ranks, relying solely on his hard work and merit, Sung Tae-hoon (Park Sung-woong) is very proud of his accomplishments in his career. According to the trailer, though, something tarnished Tae-hoon’s reputation and he signs up for a transfer to the little village of Yeonli-ri, when promised that the move would improve his public image.
However, it seems Tae-hoon was not prepared for a full-fledged rural experience and his suited attire suggests that he may have expected something gentrified and/or ‟cabin core.” When the muddy, cabbage reality before him starts to sink in, Tae-hoon mutters to himself in utter disbelief, wondering how the heck he got into this mess. Especially because he doesn’t even know the first thing about farming.
Thankfully, Tae-hoon will not be alone and it will also be a first-time for his Seoulite wife Lee Soo-kyung (Dog Knows Everything), in addition to their three sons: Lee Jin-woo (Namib), Seo Yoon-hyuk (Weak Hero Class 2), and Yang Woo-hyuk (Surely Tomorrow).
Slated to premiere on March 26 next month, KBS’s Cabbage Your Life will be broadcasting in a new Thursday slot. Production for the family-comedy has PD Choi Yeon-soo (Pump Up the Healthy Love, Memorials) directing with scripts by Song Jung-rim (My Merry Marriage) and Wang Hye-ji (Nothing Serious).
