A Korean actress, who appeared in hit dramas such as Hospital Playlist and Queen of Tears, is pregnant after 9 years of marriage and overcoming two miscarriages.
On August 30th, Seol Yu Jin shared on her Instagram account, “I never thought the day would come when I could share pregnancy news! After 9 years of marriage, a precious little angel we’ve been waiting for so long has miraculously come to us.”
She continued, “After two miscarriages, I underwent IVF with PGT for a year to meet a healthy baby. It was a really tough time, and I think I put in a lot of effort to overcome those difficulties.”
Seol Yu Jin expressed her affection for her husband, saying, “Until this moment, my husband, who always believed in me with all his heart, never wavered, made me laugh, and stood by my side—thank you and I love you so much. Thanks to him, I’ve been trying to believe that the ending will surely be happy, and now another heartbeat is pounding inside me.”
She revealed the baby’s nickname is “Mango” and said, “The due date is November 26. I’m currently 8 months pregnant. Mango is growing healthily and well. I will reveal the gender soon. Please send lots of support so I can meet Mango in good health.”
Finally, Seol Yu Jin added words of encouragement for those who are still waiting for new life, saying, “Even right now, I pray wholeheartedly for everyone waiting for new life. May blessings and miracles be with all of you.”
Alongside her announcement, Seol Yu Jin shared numerous photos of the many syringes she used during IVF treatments, pregnancy tests, and ultrasound images.
Seol Yu Jin married actor Han Kyung Seok in 2017. She has appeared in supporting and minor roles in dramas such as Hospital Playlist, Doctor Cha, Queen of Tears, The Judge from Hell, A Virtuous Business, and Hyper Knife.
