A Korean actor-singer has released an official statement following MC Mong‘s live broadcast in which some shocking allegations were made against several celebrities.

On the 19th, Kim Min Jong’s legal representative stated, “Recently, baseless rumors about the private life of singer and actor Kim Min Jong, as well as malicious allegations, have been spreading indiscriminately, mainly through online communities, social media, and some sensationalist media outlets. As a result, the reputation of the artist, who has been greatly loved by the public, has been severely damaged.”
Kim Min Jong’s side expressed, “Amidst various stories circulating that mention Kim Min Jong’s name and cause concern and confusion to many people, the artist himself is taking this situation very seriously and views the current circumstances with great sorrow and distress.”
They continued, “However, we clearly state that all the content related to Kim Min Jong currently being discussed online is entirely false.”
Kim Min Jong’s legal team emphasized, “Mr. Kim is determined to confront this head-on without any compromise to prove his integrity. We plan to verify the specific claims made by the parties involved and will pursue necessary civil and criminal legal actions against them.”
Through his legal representatives, Kim Min Jong conveyed, “I will act with caution so as not to disappoint those who have trusted and supported me for a long time. I sincerely thank everyone who is worried and waiting.”
Previously, MC Mong, during a live broadcast addressing controversies surrounding him, mentioned information he claimed to have learned or received via tips, as well as recordings and text materials. He revealed the existence of a gambling group, which included a well-known mid-level singer. He also claimed to possess recordings, reports, and texts involving women who allegedly engaged in prostitution with the singer.
