According to reports, ADOR has made a notable change in its damages lawsuit against former NewJeans member Danielle and former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin.
Former NewJeans’ Danielle
According to MyDaily’s report on June 4, KST, ADOR has revised the amount of damages it sought in its lawsuit against Danielle and her family, as well as Min. The amount was reduced from ₩43.1 billion KRW (about $28.1 million USD) to ₩33.1 billion KRW (about $21.6 million USD).
Explaining their decision, ADOR stated that after new legal counsel was appointed for this case, they restructured the claim upon reviewing it. Last month, ADOR replaced its entire legal team involved in this lawsuit, consisting of five attorneys from the Kim & Chang law firm, with four attorneys from the law firm Leehan. The next hearing of the case is scheduled for June 11, KST.
This sudden replacement of the legal team was seen as an unfair tactic by ADOR to delay the lawsuit. Fans are also convinced that the company lacks sufficient evidence to sue Danielle, and the latest revision to its damages claim has only drawn further skepticism.
this basically means they had nothing on her and were just trying to ruin her career https://t.co/6W0FyM5yQl
