AKMU (also known as Akdong Musician) member Lee Suhyun confessed her struggles during a period when she had gained a lot of weight.
On the 1st, a video titled “How Much Did I Spend to Become a VVIP?.. ★Lowest Prices at Plus-Size Shopping Malls★” was uploaded on Lee Suhyun’s YouTube channel.
In the video, Lee Suhyun introduced the plus-size shopping malls she personally used and honestly shared the struggles she experienced due to her weight gain.
She recalled, “It was about three years ago. I thought to myself, ‘I’ve really let myself go, I’m so fat,’ and completely gave up on dressing up.”
She continued, “There was no size that fit. Even if I wanted to dress nicely, I just couldn’t. I thought, ‘I’m not pretty like this, so no matter what I wear, it’s the same,’ so I was even embarrassed to dress up,” confessing the loss of confidence caused by changes in her body shape.
However, her perspective changed after discovering various plus-size clothing malls. Lee Suhyun said, “But once I searched a bit, I found there were so many plus-size malls and they were all doing really well. From then on, I started buying plus-size clothes like crazy.”
She also explained that each shopping mall had distinct styles and concepts, making it enjoyable to find places that matched her personal taste.
In closing, Lee Suhyun sent an encouraging message: “To everyone who’s plus-size, don’t give up on dressing up. Look for pretty clothes that fit your size, buy them, and try them on.”
Meanwhile, Lee Suhyun recently attracted much attention by revealing she lost about 30 kilograms through dieting.
