A beloved Korean actress has voiced concerns about stalking and threats she received, drawing attention and sparking heartbreak.
On July 15th, a serious message was posted on social media by actress Choi Kang Hee. She said, “I would also like to inform my fans that I will no longer be able to accept letters or gifts sent to the broadcasting station. Please understand. Kindly send them through my agency or fan club. Due to ongoing incidents recently, I have even experienced nightmares that blurred the line between reality and dreams, which felt very unusual. I ask for your prayers and cooperation.”
Choi Kang Hee added, “Since this is a public message, I want to clarify something. Yesterday, I found a letter stating that if I do not respond, it would be taken as consent and that the sender would follow my car. I also discovered that this was from the same person who spoke to me a few days ago. I will not disclose their name. Please do not come looking for me!”
Choi Kang Hee further stated, “I hope people understand that attempts at conversation without consent, waiting around, and following someone are all forms of stalking. Even actions without malicious intent can cause psychological terror. Please do not come looking for me! I ask this sincerely. I will also refuse all letters and gifts sent to the broadcasting station.”
