BLACKPINK Lisa‘s album sales have become a topic of discussion.

Recently, Lisa released her first mini-album, Press Play, featuring two singles, “Tarantino” and “Sawadika.” The album officially dropped on October 23, and has been released in physical formats.

So far, there have been three days of tracking the album’s sales from Hanteo reporting sources, with the first update occurring on October 26. According to a known reporting source, the album sold a bit over 27,000 copies, per Hanteo Chart tracking.

Some have mocked the idol over the apparent sales, claiming that Lisa’s influence and popularity has fallen.

However, these reported sales do not give the full picture of the album’s release.
Lisa has her own website for Press Play, which sells different versions of the album and other merch items, which some have pointed out has sold out on more than one occasion. The website does not mention reporting to Hanteo, like other sites that do do, which could play a part in the reported sales.
