South Korean boy group ARrC has announced their official disbandment, sparking shock as it was less than two years after their official debut.
In a statement released on June 23, management agency Mystic Story confirmed that the seven-member group would be concluding all group activities effective immediately.
“After extensive and thoughtful discussions with the members, we have come to the decision to officially conclude ARC’s group activities as of June 23, 2026.
Accordingly, ANDY, CHOI HAN, DOHA, HYUNMIN, JIBEEN, KIEN, and ROTO will each embarkon new journeys and pursue their own paths moving forward.”

ARrC — whose name stands for Always Remember the real Connection — debuted on August 19, 2024, under Mystic Story with their EP Ar^c.
The group had already faced turbulence early on, with member Ziwoo departing in January 2025, leaving it a seven-piece. Now, roughly two years after their debut, the remaining members are going their separate ways as well.

The announcement has left fans blindsided. Many expressed frustration not just at the disbandment itself, but at the perception that the group never received adequate support or promotion during their short run.
What??! Why? This is so sudden and weird..

Mystic Story did not provide a specific reason for the decision, citing only that it followed “extensive and thoughtful discussions” with the members.
ARrC’s disbandment adds to a growing list of K-Pop groups that have dissolved within their first few years, a reminder of how difficult it is to break through in one of the industry’s most competitive landscapes.
