While the comment was seen at the time as a typical fan-pleasing remark, a scathing post calling the BTS star “a liar” and “deceiving” has gone viral.

However, many do not agree with the accusations above. Some claim that, despite his recent rumors with aespa’s Winter, there’s no evidence Jungkook was lying at the time. Others have criticized the act of reviving old interviews to stir controversy, calling it malicious and unnecessary.
