BTS’s RM has unexpectedly sparked heated online reactions after sharing a story about treating military trainees, only for many netizens to criticize the people involved.
During a recent conversation, RM recalled giving his card to trainees so they could buy themselves some items from the military convenience store.
“I gave my card to the neighboring squadron to get themselves snacks from the military convenience store and bought like ₩660,000 KRW (about $438 USD) worth of snail mucin cream and other daily necessities. So the POS broke down. It was the first time this ever happened in the base. The commander asked me what was going on, and I said that I told the kids to get some snacks, but they bought things to send to their mom like health goods. The receipt had over 100 items listed on it.”
He continued, shocked by what ended up happening:
