BTS recently sat down with Rolling Stone magazine to discuss their new album ARIRANG, career goals, and their return to the stage after their years-long hiatus.

On April 16, Rolling Stone released a new solo interview with Suga, where he spoke about his involvement in the album, his Agust D solo albums, and more.

After living as an idol for thirteen of his 33 years, Suga is no stranger to living under the microscope of receiving backlash from the public.

“Is the scrutiny difficult?” Rolling Stone asked him. “There are things that might be small for someone else that are a big deal in your context. Is knowing that that’s the way you have to operate tough?”

Some people might find the scrutiny unbearable, but for Suga, it’s just part of idol life. “I mean, it’s just part of the job,” he replied. “My job is to live within the eyes of the public. Sometimes, I guess, it’s not convenient. It’s not convenient, but I don’t care how others see me, and I never read others’ opinions about me. So I don’t think it’s particularly tough.”
